introduction to puxies world. from a to e

everybody knows i moved last fall in the mountains, in the far east of the country, in a land of sandstone, snow, old rocks and celtic traditions. 

the perfect place for little creatures… not really pixies (they aren't naked nor badly dressed), not exactly pucks (they keep their form, don't worry!), but small, noisy, messy with strong personality, I call them Puxies, obviously.

let's talk about puxies' world. oh, it's a very logical univers, no surprise. 

for example, the oldest has a name starting with an "A", and the youngest will be named with a "Z". we think is most comfortable for everybody.

here is Amande. the elder. the first born. nobody has to ask, this is immediately obvious. amande takes class of "bossiness" (bossy-tude?) with yoko. it's a good pupil. Amande is a rebel and can't stand braids!

number two is Bergamote. a funny little one, addicted to happy colors and vitamin C… you can't keep your grumpy mood with such a baby!

oh did i mention there are supposed to be twenty-six, if everything goes well…

talking about names, after several debates with my staff, I decided to give them all names of fruits. "because they are a kind of combo between pucks and pixies", you are thinking, creatures of the fields, woods, bush, etc.

well, you are not wrong, but to be honest (i'm very new to fields, prairies, etc.), fruit names evoke nature, trees, gardens, slow life, sweet tastes, traditions, baking and old homes: above everything very politically correct things, right?
can you imagine little creatures named "kerosene" "nitrate" or "NH3"? i do, but maybe i'd be the only one… fruits seemed most consensual and fashionable. 

so, that's why we name this one Châtaigne. don't worry, it's not a terrible rascal, it's just a kid… 

a few days after Chataigne, Durian decided to be born. this one is a very shy puxie, loving arms and cuddles and knees, etc. you know the style… 

last of the week but not least, Eglantine. red hat, dark hair, ready for no good whatever the hour and your wishes. beware…

All different.
but so much in common. 12". TLS hair. handknit felted hats, handknit shoes, dresses and granny panties… all made with natural materials and love. collars. of course collars, our five older wears collars. it's their distinctive mark.
